Frequently asked questions: swapping to TON (TON)
The 5 most common questions, answered.
01How long does it take to swap to TON?
Usually 1-5 minutes. AllSwap matches the order instantly; the main wait is the source-chain confirmation (USDT-TRC ~10s, ETH ~30s, SOL ~5s) plus a TON block (about 5 seconds). Because TON has short block times, end-to-end delivery feels fairly smooth.
02Which cryptocurrencies can I swap to TON on AllSwap?
More than 120 assets across 33 chains can be swapped to TON in one click, including USDT (TRC20 / ERC20 / BEP20 / TON / Solana), USDC (ERC20 / Base / Solana / Arbitrum), BTC, ETH, SOL, BNB, XRP, NEAR, DOGE, TRX, LTC, ADA and more. See the routing list above for the full mapping.
03What are the minimum and maximum amounts when swapping to TON?
AllSwap has no hard minimum. The practical floor is set by TON settlement cost, and because on-chain fees on TON are low, trades from roughly 1 USDT equivalent are viable. The per-order ceiling depends on live market-maker liquidity; for sizes at or above ~300,000 USDT equivalent, splitting into smaller orders usually yields a better rate.
04Do I need KYC or to connect a wallet to swap to TON?
No. AllSwap is fully non-custodial: no account registration, no KYC, no wallet connection. You only need to supply a TON receiving address (standard wallets or Telegram's built-in wallet both work); the protocol handles the rest, and your funds never pass through any centralised entity.
05Can a TON swap be frozen or require identity verification?
No. AllSwap is a decentralised matching protocol that does not screen transactions, hold user funds, or collect identity data. The full swap path is verifiable on-chain, and if any step fails, funds are automatically refunded in full to the original sending address.
What is TON (TON)?
TON (The Open Network), originally known as Telegram Open Network, was first proposed by Telegram founders Pavel and Nikolai Durov, who released its technical white paper in 2018; after Telegram exited the project in 2020 under regulatory pressure, development was handed over to the independent TON Foundation and the open-source community.
TON uses a Byzantine Fault Tolerant Proof-of-Stake (BFT-PoS) consensus, with a multi-layer architecture of masterchain, workchains and shardchains that enables horizontal scaling on demand; masterchain blocks are produced roughly every 5 seconds. Toncoin, the network's native asset, had an initial issuance of about 5 billion coins with no hard cap, and a small amount of new supply is minted each year through staking rewards.
TON is deeply integrated with Telegram's instant-messaging ecosystem, natively supporting wallets, transfers and a Mini App stack that reaches a vast user base. On-chain fees are relatively low and confirmations are fairly fast, making TON one of the major issuance networks for mainstream stablecoins such as USDT, and a commonly used rail for cross-border and small-value settlement.
