Frequently asked questions: swapping to USDT (TON) (USDT)
The 5 most common questions, answered.
01How long does it take to swap to USDT TON?
Typically 2–5 minutes. AllSwap's matching is instant; the main wait is your origin-chain confirmation (USDT-TRC ~10 s, ETH ~30 s, SOL ~5 s) plus TON mainnet's roughly 5-second block confirmation. See the table above for origin-chain speeds.
02Which cryptocurrencies can I swap to USDT TON on AllSwap?
120+ crypto assets across 33 chains can be swapped to USDT TON in one step — popular options include USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH, SOL, BNB, XRP, TON, NEAR, DOGE and TRX. See the routes table above for the full list.
03What's the minimum and maximum I can swap to USDT TON?
There is no hard minimum; the floor is set by TON mainnet settlement cost, around 1–2 USDT equivalent. The per-swap ceiling depends on live market-maker liquidity — for large stablecoin orders, splitting into multiple swaps usually gets you a better rate.
04Do I need KYC or to connect a wallet to swap to USDT TON?
No. AllSwap is fully non-custodial: no account, no KYC, no wallet connection. Just provide any TON receiving address — including Telegram-native @wallet or TON Space — and the protocol handles the rest, with no centralized intermediary.
05Could my swap to USDT TON be frozen or require identity verification?
No. AllSwap is a decentralized matching protocol — it doesn't screen transactions, custody funds or collect identity data. The full flow is on-chain verifiable, and any failed swap is auto-refunded to your sending address.
What is USDT (TON) (USDT)?
USDT TON is the version of Tether USD issued on The Open Network (TON), implemented as a native Jetton token. The original TON network was launched by the Telegram team in 2018 but shut down in 2020 following an SEC lawsuit; the same year, the community took over the codebase and relaunched it as The Open Network, today maintained by the independent TON Foundation.
TON runs on a BFT-based Proof-of-Stake consensus with a multi-shard architecture, producing a new block roughly every 5 seconds at a per-transfer cost that is typically below $0.01. Each USDT TON is pegged 1:1 to the US dollar, backed by equivalent reserves held by Tether, with every Jetton transfer publicly verifiable on-chain.
USDT TON is tightly integrated into the Telegram ecosystem: users can send and receive it directly inside chats via @wallet or TON Space, and pay in a single tap inside TON Mini Apps. Typical use cases include peer-to-peer transfers between friends, creator tipping and small cross-border settlements.
