How refunds work and how long they take
If a swap cannot complete due to slippage, quote expiry, or an on-chain issue, the order enters refund handling. Refund handling is possible when the route and source-chain refund address support it; support may ask for proof in edge cases.
Likely causes
AllSwap is non-custodial and does not run user-balance accounts. When matching cannot complete at the quoted rate, the order moves into refund handling; the exact path depends on the source-chain transaction, route status, and usable refund address.
How to fix it
Walk through in order — most cases are resolved at step 1.
- 01Check whether refund is automatic
Some failed routes can enter refund handling. If no usable refund address is available, or the provider routes funds to a fallback address, support may need the deposit transaction proof before release.
- 02Verify the refund on the source chain
Check the inbound history of your sending address on a source-chain block explorer — you should see the refunded amount. Arrival time depends on source-chain confirmation speed.
- 03Contact support for a manual refund
If the refund hasn't shown up after a while, send the deposit address for this swap to @allswapservice and we'll reconcile it transaction by transaction.
Still not resolved?
